This design uses cross stitch, whole crosses only, and blackwork to produce what is a negative silhouette of a butterfly. Most of the stitching is in white cotton, but gold metallic thread and pearl beads are used to produce a lustrous effect.
The design is 20cms by 26cms (8" by 10") and is available on black 14ct aida or 28ct evenweave.
